White flowers, the seed looks so cute…A curious plants lover found this tree in a park, and curious about more information of this plant, Do you know?

Are the fruits edible? Is it a big tree?

This is one of the Asclepias or common name Milkweed.

Yes, it is a milkweed plant. When I lived in Connecticut, we had some on our property.

Hi! We have this plant here in Sri Lanka growing right on my own garden. The name doesn't come to mind but my Mom's planted it to ward off creeping reptiles. The squashed leaves are poisonous to snakes etc.
