eheheheh, Paula. I was reading your post and thought someone thinks just like me, and then I read again, it was written by me.
Just last week, there was big discussion here that our Musuem in Wellington te papa which usually had maori display, there is a sign recommending pregnant and menstruating women not to go because it is tapu.
Modern people commplain. I remember when I was in Singapore, I had a modern Indian friend, when she was menstruating , she won't go to my garden. So similar to your promemgrate story.
