Tabebuia Rosea

The sakura lookalikes are actually known as Tabebuia rosea or trumpet trees. Pictures taken in Bishan Park.

Hi,
This plant seems like Lagerstroemia speciosa,Giant Crepe Myrtle . There is another species of Lagerstroemia that looks very similar to it, so I'm not sure. The difference is the features of the bark.
It is not Trumpet tree. The trumpet tree's leaf is different. The stalk of the trumpet tree leaf is connected to several large leaflets like the palm of our hands. The trumpet trees are along the park connector tracks that lead to Bishan stadium, near the traffic lights, and probably some near the golf area too.
