Yes, they are edible sour fruits of the tree. In Kerala we call it ' Lololikkai. The tree is ' Lololi'. The fruits are v. firm and sour. They can be eaten ripe with salt. We even preserve them in salt and vineger with boiled and cooled water. Try them after 7 days. Yum...... You can make good mouth watering pickles too. They are never toooo sweet. But taste so good.
